Free YJ Parts

Folks! I've almost got my poor 90 Wrangler roadworthy... (actually, it's a 24 year old NEW Jeep now).

While doing the mods, I've mysteriously come up with some spare parts:

Ash tray, ECU and bracket for 2.5L engine, front axle engagement fork and associated vacuum lines, complete Dana 35 rear differential (4.11 gears, new brakes and hardware, e-brake cables, etc), tire carrier bracket for the tailgate door (I'm not sure the offset, it had a 32" tire mounted on it)

The rear diff has 3 munched spider gears (thanks previous owner) but the ring and pinion, bearings and seals appear to be in good shape.

I'd like to get the stuff out of my garage and hate to just throw usable parts away

Please send me a PM if you are interested in anything.

xj27 Rock hard jeep club now has a chapter in Lubbock tx. For more information shot me a msg or reply. Rock hard jeep club is a family oriented drama free club, that has many private wheeling areas just for our club. We now have chapters in McCamey, Odessa/midland, Colorado city and now Lubbock.

beepbeephi Thank you! I love my 10a and it is so capable just the way it came from the factory. I really enjoy taking it off-road and being surprised at what all that it can accomplish. I still plan on going off-road in the Jeep but my buggy allows me to have another option that I don't mind modifying. Also, it is street legal so I just love all the stares that it gets as I run errands or go grab a bite to eat.

KidRock171 That 10th anniversary rubicon is a beast. Lucky you.

beepbeephi Thank you Toolman! I sit on the board of West Texas Crawlers and I am proud to belong to such a great group of people. Thank you for the well wishes.

I have a 10th Anniversary Rubicon that I love but do not wish to modify, so I too just recently purchased a rail buggy. It was all hand built by a guy my husband knows and he took 2 years to build it in 2006. Once we get the new rims and tires on it (hopefully today), I will post up some pics.

The Toolman Well folks, it's been a while since I've dropped by. I wanted to say hello to everyone, hope all of you are doing well. Long story short, I shut the DR 4X4 club down due to time constraints due to my career/family & a serious lack of quality members that would do their part to help keep it going. Just nature of the beast sometimes lol. That being said, I wish the best of luck to the WTC in Midland, TX & to the 3 chapters of the Rock Hard Jeep Club (McCamey, TX; Colorado City, TX; & Midland/Odessa, TX) I wish the best to all of you & that you continue to succeed in your future ventures.

I have sold my Jeep & have a acquired an all out tube chassis rock crawling buggy now that I'll take out a few times a year after I finish rebuilding it to my specs.

Again, I hope everyone is doing well. I'll drop by to say hello here & there though :-)

quantumracer Well, the wife and I rolled into town yesterday. Pretty tired, but had a great morning catching up with mom and dad. The Jeep has been at ARA since last week, and should be ready Monday. Excited to have the AC running again! Thanks for the advice on where to send the rig! Turns out the guys there do a lot of work for a good friend of my sister and her husband who owns rodeo bulls.

Winch is good. Make sure to have a hulkin connection to your battery. Stay tuned for a "winch clinic" and get to know the ins and outs of your winch (pun intended) Desert Rattler 4x4 club, we have been talkin about having a winch clinic but seems like we are all so busy. IT WILL HAPPEN
Yes it will, actually we will plan to do a winch clinic the first or second weekend of July in preparation for our D.R. 4X4 wheeling/camping trip to Colorado later in the month.

We will do, details will be posted on the calendar page of our website very soon, it will be posted on our Facebook page as well.

Feel free to contact us if you need any help installing the winch, etc. We'd be happy to help if you need it.
