97TealJ I have the 7" flares on my 97 with 15X10's, 3.75 backspace and 33X12.50 Toyo MTs. They're right out at the edge, but still covered.

Wow, that sucks. Where are you?

I'll be importing from the US too. Prices over here are ridiculous. Thanks again.
Would it still be considered legal if you trimmed the downward overhang off of the outer edge?

JRoweMDN Stock Rubicon flares before

7" flares after

Like I said mine are 33x12.5 and the backspace is 3.625" on the classic locks. The wheels with 4" backspace will be fine.

bobthetj03 32X11.50X15 Cooper STT's on 15X8 wheels with a 3.75" BS on factory non-Rubi flares. Looks like a 6" flare would do fine.

BLK00TJ My recommendation would be get different wheels with more appropriate back spacing. I regret mine.

JRoweMDN I have the MT Classic locks with 33/12.5/15 trail Grapplers and with a 7" flare I get just a bit sticking out so the 11.5 should be well covered.

Wheel2Work The 7" flares will completely cover the tread of a 33x12.5" with 4" of backspace... you should be fine!

Help with fender flare coverage please

I'm looking at MT Classic II 15x8 with Cooper STT 32/11.5R15. I know the MT wheel has less backspace than is ideal but choice is limited over here unfortunately and they do look good!

My question is whether a 7" fender flare will provide full coverage of the tyre. It's pretty strict here and basically the tyre can't hang out the flare. Does anyone have this setup?
