SeaLevelJeeper Mobile1 Synthetic. I guess now is the time to tell the whole story. The oil was last changed in August and I've driven 2,000 miles since then.

I noticed my engine was ticking on Thursday, so I popped the hood & checked the oil. She was bone dry. I haven't seen anything to indicate that oil had been leaking. It wasn't running hot, normal temperature on the gauge. Filled her back up with oil on Thursday but the ticking has gotten slightly worse and there is a soft knocking now. It's beyond me how there was no oil after 2,000 miles.

I literally just got back from the dealership. They won't get to it until Monday, however, the mechanic took a listen to it. He said the unthinkable, "it doesn't sound good, from my experience with this noise it's never been good. We may have to drop it and repair some portion of the engine." Ugh, I'm trying to watch football but I just can't seem to focus knowing that.

Also, didn't mean to hijack, I saw Delray subject and thought some of you might have some insight!

JKNoor Yup sunday was fun. Thank for the pics Ramon - will def have to meet up with you guys again. Has anyone tried going though all of trail 3? looking at the corbett map it looks like it loops all the way around and we could connect with another trail towards the north entrance to get back on the main road. My brother and I are thinking about trying it since its getting pretty dry out there...anyone else up for spending a day in the swamp?

look up videos of it on YouTube. Once it breaks that stored energy will cause the hook (and what is ever left of the strap) to go flying.

If your using it to pull someone out, the added stress can cause the strap to brake, thus causing the metal hook to become a projectile, injuring someone or their property.

Malan35 ---Make sure if you come you have at least a RECOVERY strap WITHOUT metal hooks or ends.
