|Dieselholic||Damn, I'm 6'5". I hope I fit in my cage. I'm going to be very pissed if I don't. But the new seats are lower than factory by 2" so that might help. And I got the web gussets from them. I hope they look good. Cause I do like the way a genright looks. Just not worth the price.|

There are a couple of things I don't like:
1. The cage is low. The reason I got it used was the guy that had it before me was 6' when he was in the Jeep with the cage on his head was up by the bars which he didn't like. I'm only 5'6" so that doesn't bother me. Now the cages that they show in the pictures and on mine the top B pillar bar goes straight across. This is what makes the cage so low. In the daddy long legs build up, the cage they built for that, the top B pillar bar is bent on the ends which raises the bars up to the normal roll bar height. I don't know if this is the way they have started making them or if they did it just on that build, you might want to check with them.
2. The rear horizontal bar is low and sits right in the middle of your vision in the rear view, you get used to it. The one bad thing about this bar is if you run a hard top at all the cover for the wiper hits this bar and the cover needs to be removed.
Now that I have had it in for the summer, I would add a few more bars here and there for gussets like the Genright cage but it is now powder coated so I'm not going to do that.
I love the cage though and get a lot of compliments on it, mostly in the summer when I'm running with out the hard top. One nice thing is that the rear legs come together to mount to the tub in the same place the original roll bar did so tonneau covers still fit with the cage, you can see in the picture that I run one in the summer.

|Dieselholic||Is there anything you don't like about the cage? Or anything you would add?|

When you get it, let me know if you have any questions and I'll be glad to help where I can.

They have the bungs for the seat belts. But I'm using 4 point harnesses. I asked them if a frameless top would work. Cause I have one allready. But they said no. Then I asked how to mount the factory and he said to just google it. So I turned up here lol. I like the bracket Idea and that is what I will do. I tried finding them and couldn't. So thank you.
P.S. I will be posting pics of it when I get it. I was told it could be up to 6 weeks. They didn't have any welded when I ordered.

|Tshields||I bought mine used, but I guess they figure that not everyone is going to run a factory style soft top with the cage. It really isn't to hard to do.|

|DevilDogDoc||I'd be pretty pissed if I spent $1500 on a cage and it didn't have the holes drilled and tapped already...,,|

Just a couple months ago I went through putting a PSC full cage in my TJ and had to drill all of the holes for the soft top and door surrounds. For the holes on the B pillar measure the distance from the floor to the holes on the original roll bar and transfer it over to the cage, drill and tap. For the surrounds go ahead and mount the surrounds on the cage (if you have grab handles you will need to remove some of the surround to fit correctly) and mark the the holes top and bottom and then drill.
Here is a picture of mine, you can see the brackets for the top on the B pillar:

I thought PSC had weld-in bungs for the factory seat belt mounts but I think you may have to get creative with the top bracket mounts.
BTW, I would like to see some pics of that cage in your rig when you get it installed. I am considering this cage, but I don't like how the rear section tapers in after the main hoop.

|DevilDogDoc||Might need a top that doesnt attach to the rollbar, or drill the new bar with the old brackets.... My Supertop doesnt use the factory rollbar attachments as one example.|

Poison spyder cage soft top HELP please
I ordered a full welded cage yesterday for my tj. I have a frameless top for the jeep. But that won't fit. So now I need a full top and frame. Ok so question is I don't have any clue on how to mount it to the new cage. I know it doesn't have the little tabs on the B-pillor. Where can I get those. Or is there a bolt on set or only weld.
