NalinMFG yes that is true, but if money is no concern then going antirock now may save him some money in the future. i ran the antirock when i had only a 2"REBB and 1"bl, i personally like it better than disco's....plus it looks cooler, and thats all that matters

Gary2 If its just discos ya want I have no complaints about my JKS quickers .

I agree but it's also a lot more $$$. But if I were to come into some extra money, I would replace my Antirock with ORO's Swayloc which was developed by a local friend of mine here in SOCAL. Too bad he got screwed out of any royalties for the design though (which was also copied by Tera).

Jerry Bransford What usually works for me is to go to an offroad shop and get them to give you a full-bore MSRP quote for a new equivilent to what you had and show that to the insurer so they can settle the claim. In my experience where I've had a few people run into my Jeep, insurance companies have cut me a check based on that amount, maybe Fedex's will agree to the same kind of settlement?
01-02-2009 08:05 PM
jgano23 i really want to get the currie but, i have to replace the disco w/ something similar to what i had for the insurance to cover it. if i could get Fedex's insurance to cover the currie that would be sweet, but unfortunately they are barely covering what that @sshole destroyed on my jeep.

Jerry Bransford If you really want quick discos, either JKS or RE Generation 2 are very good.

But if it were me, I'd ditch the front OE antiswaybar and replace it with a Currie Antirock antiswaybar system. Once that is installed, you will never have to disconnect/reconnect your front antiswaybar again. The Antirock is an antiswaybar but it has a bit lighter anti-roll rate so it better matches the one in the rear so your suspension is better balanced to perform better offroad.

You will get a tad (just a tad) more roll on the street but not enough to worry about. I've been happily running my Antirock (sells for around $400) on my daily-driver TJ for 7-8 years now. It's a 1-2 banana job at most to install with no special tools or skills needed.

Rawkon the holding pins are mounted up high in the fender wells
IMO the RE gen 2s, look better and function as good or better and i cheaper then the JK$'s.

MR.CLIFFORD What is this holding pin you speak of?

You should be using disco cables.

distortedtj Andy's got the pic's there for you. I'll get the pic's of them disco'd and up on the holding pin tomorrow. My camera is junk and it's to dark out right now to get a decent pic.

jgano23 the one set is for 0"-4" of lift and the other is for 2.5"-6" of lift. why they sis this i don't know, but i would (and am probably going to) get the ones for the 0"-4" lift. i have a 2" bb. that is probably going to be the one for you too.
01-02-2009 04:17 PM
G54 Not to hijack, but I plan on the JKS Quicker Discos as well. With a 2" spring lift and 1.25" BL should I get the 0"-2" or 2.5"- whatever it is size?

4point RE GenII.............. I really like mine. I installed the JKS units on my FIL's jeep and thought they were cool, but I like mine better.

Unless you want to go currie anti-rock sway bar or air actuated discos, get the JKS. You won't be disappointed.
ya, i was thinking JKS, i've heard good things about them. the warrior ones i has were terrible, they came with my BB. but, they were missing some parts when they got to me. my husband had to "jimmy rig" them so they would stay on. they never really fit right, so they really were not all that "quick." and i really don't care about price, the guy that hit me had no reguard for my (or my dogs) safety, so i have no regard for the price of the parts. I wish i could go w/ the curry anti-rock or the air actuated, but the collision center said they have to be similar to what i had.
