Armor All, 303, etc is almost impossible to remove for painting unless you know what you're doing. There are products that will remove it, but you probably won't find them at Advance or Auto Zone.

|greensahara2000||I'm definitely planning on painting mine when it warms up thought this would be a good option in the meantime. I'm disappointed because it rained last week and the turtle wax left a greasy film on the windows of the hardtop.|

|Volta009||I looks great for maybe a month then it starts to fade it kind of looks like it flakes but it fades weird I think it looks too bad when it fade to even do it. Just plastidip or paint or bed line.|

Picked up some turtle wax trim restorer and worked great on my besttop hardtop that is about 9 years old.
Was really faded on top and took a couple applications but so far looks great.

Yeah, it's pretty good.
Turtle Wax has been stepping up in the past few years. Have you tried their ICE line? Synthetic spray wax that can be used on paint, plastic, rubber, and glass.
