I.E. my jeep is a 2000 but I had to buy the 03-06 louver because it's for jeeps that have 1 windshield washer. But my uncle has an 01 that has 2 windshield washers, so he'd have to get the 97-02

The first pic was taken after letting it idle at a higher speed for about 15 minutes. That's as "cold" ask could get it. Proof the PS louvers definitely help during slow speed crawling?

Second pic was after slowing the engine back down and letting it sit for another 15 minutes.

I'd still like to lower intake temps. Maybe a snorkel of some sort? I don't know.

WranglerWarrior I would like to ask, if light mudding is an issue. I never go in deep mud just about half my tires or so. Has anyone had issues with mud caking up on the engine from this?

With the motor running, there is so much air blowing out the vents, the rain can't get in. (even when parked and idling)
(It's rare, but) On a couple of occasions when driving in the rain, the whole louver panel has stayed dry with all the hot air blowing out of the vents.

OhSixTJ Got some "testing" done today:

110 degree heat, jeep in park in the middle of a field, AC blowing full blast: highest coolant temp is 214. Intake temps are still up in the 170 are. Stock air box.

Last Friday I was sitting still in the same conditions, coolant temp was up to 233.

Conclusion: The hood vents don't make your jeep run cooler, but they definitely keep it from running hotter.
