WOKNROX What's the maker of ur lift & tires?...did ur new lift include new adjustable links?...if so have u had a 4wheel aliment done?....do u know the caster? Caster helps ur front end find center....if ur front axle isn't setup square and with the right amount of caster ur jeep will behave very badly ...
Just a few commonly overlooked things that can cause ur issues
thanx..

DiscoBayJoe I feel your pain. I had bad DW on my 08. I was getting it as a combo of poorly worn (cupped) tires + worn TrackBar Heim joint. I ended up doing a full front end rebuild (Knuckles, Ball Joints, Tie Rod, DragLink, Trackbar Mounts, etc) as the DW got so bad I shook/wore everything loose. You definitely want to fix it before you keep tearing things up!

BeantownR6 Ya dw sucks most of us have dealt with it, I have before. You just have to go thru and check everything and you will find it.

Are you sure it isn't the track bar? I don't know about JK's but I've heard of TJ's where the hole gets oblonged. Have someone steer while you check it out.

BeantownR6 did you check your front trac bar? #1 cause of DW.

have you checked and torqued all bolts of your front suspension?

this may help if you haven't seen it already.

Kaisertod How much are you wheeling? I thought it was interesting that you said that it comes back after a few months... any chance you are killing the steering stabilizer? I've gone through a couple of them (damn rocks seek that bastard out) and every time it gets nailed, I find myself death wobbling not too long after.

Just a thought... The guys at JPi will fix it right up though, no question there. Just gotta get out to Yucaipa.

suicideking If Yucaipa isn't too far, take it to JPI.

Did you replace the driveshafts? The OEM DS's need to be replaced if going above 2.5". Definitely the front, maybe rear too at that height.
