With that tire carrier the spare tire is too much in the rear IMO. On that way you have a bad angle in the rear.
I sometimes have to umount my spare tire because itīs in the way. With that tire I had to do that more often.

I recently installed one and it looks and performs much better than I anticipated.. She was a little painful to install as I wasn't all that comfortable about drilling holes (you need a 11/32" bit to pull it off), but the whole thing went very smoothly (other than driving all over town to find the bit).. It looks really nice too!!

itīs really great. i love it. one of the best things is that it opens with teh tailgate and that you donīt feel the weight of the big spare tire.
here you can see how it looks with a 35" spare:

|jtalar||That's the one, I saw it at SEMA and thought it was bulletproof, I am trying to find out some opinions on it, due to the fact that they advertise this tire carrier is designed to "eliminate" tailgate sag|

Are you talking about the one that mounts to the tub and articulates with the tailgate?
If so, I had one on my TJ. It was awesome! I loved it! A great tire carrier for the money!
