druffbear Has anyone put the Smittybuilt XRC M.O.D. on their JK? Looking for pics of it with the full width end plates.

Moose5 Yeah, I mean, there's no wiring in the bumpers so I don't think changing them would affect the airbags at all

What do crush cans have to do with the airbags? I was under the impression airbags use accelerometers and what not to trigger deployment. Learn me.

l2abbit I'm waiting on the XRC mod, allows you to add wings or stay stubby. Also allowed you to add a stinger or bull bar

As far as the bumper goes, I really like the edgy, shark like cut it has. Very appealing style. I'm gonna have my jeep for quite a few years so I feel it's worth the extra cash.

I'll post pics on the install and final look
My friend, you need to get out more. I've eaten life changing sandwiches.

If you can afford it, go for it. If not, I'd skip it. Cant expect people on the forum to tell you how to spend your money.

I would contact LOD direct and see if they a winch delete option. While I was at it I would check to see if they have any dealers near you where one of these bumpers is in stock so that you can see it in person to see for yourself the build quality.

I got the idea for LOD from HogDriver who posted these photos without a winch in another thread. Like mine, he ordered the RV brackets. You can get the idea of how this bumper would look without a winch. Personally, I would leave the option open for a future winch since you may change your mind. I got the cheapest, $299 but got synthetic rope = $449.

I also like the aluminum Rugged Ridge option mentioned by rics1997.

Had mine for 2 years now with no rust at all. It is very sturdy and being modular means all you have to do is change a couple pieces to make it look like a different bumper. I would buy it again in a heart beat. Might go with the aluminum the next time if there is another time just for weight but after hitting a deer and having someone back into me (not hard) and not receiving any damage, I really love this bumper. But there are many great bumpers to choose from out there.

Or just go for the scratched up and rusty look.

One of these days I will get around to touching things up.

I am quite a fan of the LoD. Any installation issues? I have an 09 jk and I hear some years of the jk don't exactly fit right and take some superfluous citing to fit the bumper in

UNDERDOG I've posted this a couple of times, but it's worth!

The Warn Elite for budget, and the AEV for hands down the best!

As of now, they don't offer a full width bumper, just the stubby and mid-width.
