I did not take the bumper off (would have been the smart way). Anyways, I just cut
the bumper enough to fit the light into the hole. Then I drilled holes for bolts and used rivet nuts into the bumper itself.
I also was not sure if they would fit and after many measurements went ahead and made the cuts. There is not much room to work but they will fit.

cant55 Cut into the bumper to make them flush mounted. Used the otrattw switches to wire them. They are wired to be on or off and come on with the reverse lights.

Andrew H They look great. Did you cut into your bumper or are they just flushed mounted (hard to see in the pic).

Andrew H Can you send a pic in daylight so I can see where and how you installed them? Thanks!
They look great.

Your best bet is to cut the retaining washers with a side cutter. Do not try to save the washers. First lift the edge of the retainer to be able to get under with the side cutter and just peal it out once cut. Do not try to just pull it out as you will rip off the tab instead.

I did the same (including trimming the tabs) on the 6145s... except I have the truck lite headlights. Awesome.

If it can be removed without damage.... please let me know.

Just had the same two days ago at 5200 miles. Taking it in next Saturday. The popular fix appears to be replacement of the oil pressure sensor.

There is a bump stop limiter between the tailgate hinge and the carrier. The tire carrier stops just after the detent position to prevent over travel.

Andrew H i knew that was a concept for Jeep but i thought it would be cool if someone made them. I just ordered Trek Armor seat covers, i emailed them to see if they could do the rollbars too.
04-11-2014 01:50 PM
WJWS12 I think that is how the 10A looks in UK.

I'd have to guess they were custom made OR they just used some fabric dye or paint...

Hey - curious - are there instructions for that install? I have the same kit and was playing with it the other day trying to figure out how they fit - figured we need to cut the tabs on the JW mounts

Thanks in advance

Another idea, upgrade the decal. I went with the AEV on the spare tire though.
