Sorry it took me so long to respond... Being from Cali, I don't frequent the Kansas forum too often.
Anyway, I bought my tow bar through a local muffler shop / trailer repair place that I know the owner of. If you're not sure what you are doing, I would seek out the advice of an expert at a RV place or somewhere that sells trailer hitches.
I choose the Sterling bar based on weight and ease of use. Like I said before, it is exceptionally easy to use. You don't have to line up perfectly to hook-up, you just need to get close. I have a friend that uses a cheeper tow bar that mounts permanently to the jeep. It often takes him a half an hour to get hooked-up and ready to roll. Never takes me more than a minute or two and I can do it myself. No need for a spotter to help get ligned up. You don't know how nice this is until you've done it in the rain.
Here is a Link for etrailer.com. They have good prices and provide a lot of good information.
If you have any more questions, PM me.

Flat tow = Towing a vehicle while it is still flat on the ground ""all vehicle tires on ground".
Just what your doing when you tow your jeep with a tow bar. Flat towing it.

I flat tow my Jeep with this towbar set-up:
I like it a lot and it's very easy to use. takes me about a minute to hook-up / un-hook the Jeep. Cost was about $800. A lot of people balk at spending that much for a tow bar, but do you want to trust you $20,000 Jeep to a $50 tow bar? I didn't, I think it was money well spent.

I bought a set of tow bar mounts for my 2002 wrangler as I want to tow behind my motorhome does anybody know where to mount these on front bumper- how far apart or at frame rails? Never done this before so is all new to me.
