[QUOTE=bvitale But the same can be said for someone that only installs a Body Lift and bigger tires. They look like they can perform off road but when it comes down to it is just larger stock. I know I was one of them with a previous truck. But Hey to each there own. Like you already said above. I guess I am just rambling. And I liked the term REDNECK RICE. HAHA.
isn't a jeep pretty much already capable of going off road stock, and the body lift and larger tires just make it more capable.

Did someone say 40?
Here's ya some 40's

Nothing wrong with 20's on a jeep.
As long as they are wrapped with 40 inch meats.

Well as I have heard someone say to me. They have RICE we have REDNECK RICE. Though most all of our mods are functional. But when you look at it this way then there mods are functional to them too. They achieve the look they want. Though they get big heads and thing that spoilers on the rear of a front wheel drive car will give them better traction. and stickers that say NOS give them 10%HP. But the same can be said for someone that only installs a Body Lift and bigger tires. They look like they can perform off road but when it comes down to it is just larger stock. I have 20's on my Frontier, but I dont use it "offroad", it is used mainly for hauling our Camper Trailer. I would never think of putting anything this big on the Jeep.

|mrbigjeep||thats nasty. unless your tires are over 37 inches i think anything over 18 is terrible.|

|activelydying||yea, i guess your right. i'm sure the same people with those little tires and rims, see a jeep lifted and muddy and think why the hell would they do that.|

|tiny terror||It's like buying a truck and never slapping a 4X8 sheet of plywood in it, or buying a sport car and never taking out and opening it up. People like to have to have. Those sorts of things are a "look at me" items, "look at what I can afford." I just figure live and let live. I don't have to drive it.|

|Scout||To each his own. I agree, I scratch my head every day driving down the street wondering why some people do the things they do to their cars. However, if it makes them happy then I say knock yourself out!|

not sure how i feel about this............
the other day i was out at a bar, and parked next to me was a jeep woth those little tires and chrome rims on it. what really is the purpose for that. why the heck would you buy a jeep ,and then put that on it. that's why i traded my truck in for a jeep, because i was sick of seeing spinning rims or all lowered to the ground. is this now crossing into the jeep world. just wanted to express my feeling.
