jgano23 oh, ok gotcha. sorry i can't help you there. i'm on the wrong coast.

Dome thanks for the reply. I've gone to 3 or 4 jamborees, I not worried about finding a place to stay but I would like to know the name of a rv place near the head quarters at the Big Bear event. If any of the members on this board have attended this event your input would be recieved with great joy.

jgano23 BTW...welcome to the forum.

jgano23 pretty much anywhere around the headquarters hotel, be it a campsite/rv park or another hotel, there will be other jamboree participants there. i know at the pine barrens jamboree in jersey everyone hangs out at the headquarters hotel and talks about the day's events. you don't have to stay at that hotel to join the festivities. it is a great time and i'm sure you'll love it.

Dome I'm new to the board, Hi you all.
I'm wondering where to stay if I go to the big bear Jeep Jamboree USA. I would want to stay in a Rv park. I have a camper and pull the Jeep behind. I would like to be in a place that other people attending the event might be and some were close to the head quarters. thanks in advance.

Scout Yeah post it up. I plan on making 3-4 events next year.
10-31-2008 01:27 PM
4Jeepn Not sure on the challenge. Lets see I think the orv places on the one I know about will be Tellico, Coal Creek(aka windrock) Royal Blue. If I get the time I will get more info...

Scout That sounds pretty cool. I just noticed on the JJUSA website that the Jeep Jamboree Challenge had been cancelled. I have no idea why though.
10-31-2008 01:00 PM
4Jeepn You forgot one:

There is going to be an JJUSA Week long event as well. Limited to I think 30ish Jeeps. Going to take place on the east side of the country. From what I recall will not only feature trips to different ORV parks but also include things like rafting, trail bike riding.. etc.. no trailers allowed, have to drive your jeep. Can't recall the dates...
