Well, that wouldn't be my decision. I only work here. I was just making a point about the amount of spam we are seeing these days. WF is on the map!
I try to look out for spam as much as possible myself. It used to bug me getting the spam, but having humor about it is a better solution. You can't beat them. They register, post their spam, and leave never to return. I don't even bother banning them most of the time, because I know they won't return using the same user name.
I probably should probably ban them, because I'm sure at some point, during a cleanup, they'll be deleted from the member list altogether.
Anyway, we all appreciate your help and everyone's help. Catching spam is a war we can't win, but we can always keep it in check.

I'm in! If you can't tell all I do is stare at a computer screen all day.
I'm trying to set a record for "Most Spam Responded To". What do I win?

I'm starting to think that we do need a spam police force to help handle the spam. The staff is pretty good at catching spam, but at times we are just unavailable.
I think I might set up and email address that only links to the forum so that when spam is reported, I may be better able to get the report and deal with it.
