flatsfisher83 Welcome to the forum! Ultimately, it's your decision. I got a Sport S and sold the tires and rims on it and got what I wanted. Went with a 2.5" lift and couldn't be happier. You'll notice as you get things done and you see more Jeeps, you'll want to do more and more.

I'm happy to finally be a Jeep owner! For 20 years, other "more practical" options prevailed. Now in my forties, I just bought a 2012 Wrangler (Sahara). It is more city slicker than I had intended to buy, but the dealer made an offer I couldn't refuse on an outgoing model with cool bells and whistles. In my fantasy Jeep, I had planned to "beef up" a basic Sport and cruise around clueless, careless, topless and doorless. But now, to replace brand new wheels and tires seems like a waste of upfront expenses. Although the Sahara looks great as is, I envisioned a 2" lift with beefier tires, black wheels, and more rugged fender flares as opposed to its "off the lot" look with painted fender flares. Should I customize it anyway?

Advice?
