Back to the front end noise again...........

I had inquired before, but my description was probably a little vauge, so I will try to describe it a little better. I have a 2002 Wrangler Sport with 47,000 miles. I rides excellent down the highway without any noise, but when Iam doing in town driving and hit a larger bump or hole I get a clunky sound. It will aslo happen if I drive over a series of smaller bumps. Any ideas what to check for? Thanks, Scooby
