A little progress
Picked up a trans cooler, trans fluid lines, fuel regulator and ordered a starter relay today.
Spent a lot of time trying to figure out the wiring for the stock yj fuel pump, what a mess...

Motors back in!
Got it in yesterday, bolting the torque converter up right now. Trying to decide what to start next. Electrical, fuel, trans lines and I have to change the gas/brake pedals.
Any tips on what you have used in this swap for gas/brake pedals?

Got my daughter off to college yesterday and the wife goes back to work in 2 weeks . Living off my income alone really puts the build in slowmo.....

Everything has to come out
Well I screwed up. I was trying to bolt the torque converter to the pressure plate and I can't turn the converter. This means I didn't have it Installed properly.
I'm told if that's the case I probably damaged the pump. This means everything must come out. and

Just an update
It's been really slow on the build. My son had surgery on his ear and now I'm spending time with him recovering. I have been doing research on what radiator hoses I need, NAPA # 7470 an 7575 seem to be what I need...I'll find out this weekend.

|kywaterman||Would it have worked okay with the th400 and 241 that were mated together from the factory ya think?|
|07-14-2013 07:28 PM|
Lokar Shifter installed!
What a pain! I do not recommend this shifter if your doing a th400/adapter/ np231.
I love it now that I got it in there!

|WICruiser||Seems like your shroud is pretty tight to the back side of the radiator. I assumed you needed at least about 1/2" space between the should and the radiator to get the air flow though the radiator on its way to the fan.|
|07-01-2013 08:09 PM|
I made these brackets and mounted today..
I'll just use sheet metal screws to attach them to the radiator and I think I'll use rivets to attach the fan to the shroud.
