dropping in a factory 2.5l in a 97 tj

i bought this jeep from a friend of mine who cracked the block pretty bad and took it to a mechanic whom then stripped the whole top off the motor. so i just pulled the bottom out and got a used 2.5l out of a 98 tj. i put it in got it lined up with the engine mounts, but theres a gap between the engine and automatic tranny and cant seem to close it up. i was going to drop skid plate to try to wiggle tranny on but theres one bolt that just spins and wont come out! any suggestions on what i should do? and can if some one has any 2.5l tjs can they get good engine shots so i know what wire will go where and what tube goes where, especially comming out of the fuel injector? also the torque converter was new in 2005 with the rebuilt tranny should i use the same converter or should i just go with the one that came with the engine?
