Cleric73 I ditched my liners when I chopped my fenders. I tried to mod/cut them to fit back in, but just ended up ruining the drivers side one...and gave up.

To me it seems a little dangerous b/c there are some exposed little connectors and wires what not. Some stuff look like it could possibly get snagged on a low bush or something if you got into something hairy. Also mud and water get all up in there. Further it just doesn't look clean.

You can order liners from Mopar, but you'll have to cut them too. These from MC look perfect for what I am talking about. Sounds like two extra drill holes and some blots and they will go right in. Thanks for the post, I'll def pick some of these up for $180.

Daniel_M The rear liners, you don't need. The front I trimmed and put back when I trimmed my stock fenders. I think I may get Metalcloak aluminum liners eventually. They look cleaner.

pluke the 2 Id rather.remove my hood springs to get rid of the hood flutter than get mud into my intake. You could re use your liner with every fender out there, you just got to be creative.

Nanook I removed mine from my Rubicon. More mud can get splashed up there. One of the benefits was that I no longer had hood flutter when passing a semi going the opposite direction.

Fender flare liners

For a lot of the after market fenders you have to remove the fender liners and only with some of them can you put them back on the jeep. I was wondering what would happen if you went wheeling with them removed. Do the liners really protect anything from rocks and mud?
