This is why people should NEVER go to a quick lube place.
6 quarts of synthetic of your choice is less than $30 at Walmart. However, as has already been said, your Jeep came with regular oil and there is nothing wrong with continuing to use regular oil in it.

Synthetic Oil and 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hi all, had a question. I'm at Jiffy Lube right now getting an oil change and the guy told me that my car can't take regular oil and it must take synthetic. I just paid $100 for 7 qrts of their cheapest?
I don't believe it though. Can my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited take just normal oil?
I've never paid $100 for an oil change in my life... seems ridiculous.
