jwilson2598 I don't know if there is a place that sells maps. There are some maps online, and some links to maps and info over at odjeeps.com, another local Jeep group.

Sweet deal! Is there a place that might sell a map of the trails in harrisonburg? If not is it pretty easy to navigate?

I got the stud from the dealership, brought it home and put it on. I think its has to be one of the biggest reliefs I have felt about a vehicle in a long time knowing that $5 and some good ol' fashion labor fixed it!

Do you have any info on the trail conditions at flagpole? You think it would be possible to do a run out there this weekend?

So far I've upgraded the winch, got a 2"BB w/ shocks and a viair88p air compressor. Might as well get some benefit out of having my jeep wrecked.
You should tell them you need it done by Friday so you can go offtoading with us!

I was talking about the spindle. The 12 point is just a 13mm.

Great news on getting a new stud put in.

Reaper2332 Great news, talked to the dealership and they said I just need to replace the wheel stud. So I did and the Jeep is back in commission!!! If anyone in the DC area has problems call mark at fair oaks Dodge Jeep service department. He didn't try to stiff me and was willing to answer any questions!

jwilson2598 If the dealer doesn't come through, I think I got my socket at AutoZone. It's either 35 or 36 mm, I have both from Jeep and CTS-V work. It's on there pretty tight, I know the TJ ones are 175 ft-lbs.

Reaper2332 The wheel stud was already stripped, probably some lazy ahole used an impact wrench to tighten down the lugs last time. Calling the dealer today, hopefully they hook me up!

So the Jeep is now in the garage with no front passenger tire installed and on Jack stands. Calling the dealer tomorrow to hopefully get it covered under my warrenty.
Here is a pic of my neighbor torching my wheel stud.
That sucks! How did you strip it or was it already stripped?

Gbobva Dude, that sucks... Lets us know how it works out or if you need any help.

Since your already experienced at this, maybe the 201 class? It's held on Sunday. I plan on taking it in the next month or two.

Nah, clean the house, etc. That was kind of the disappointing part. I wanted to come home covered in mud (a new color), but the mud holes (which were many and deep) were fill with big chunks of ice, so it was suggested we didn't play to rough in them.

danrb Glenn couldn't come. Too bad you guys didn't make it. It was awe inspiring. Still trying to figure out where the big clumps mud came from on my bumper. lol Hope you guys can make it the next trip. I think Glenn was talking about going up some time in Feb.

Probably won't make it by today. Gone all day yesterday, means clean all day today.
01-13-2013 06:46 AM
Reaper2332 That looks sweet Dan! How was it? Did Glenn make it out as well?

Also Mike is coming over again today if you would like to come by around 10-11 ish.

Biggest damage is where the winch was shoved back into the grille. I have to have a new grille put in. Luckily it didn't get to the radiator. Did break off one of the OEM fog lamps.
