suicideking I also haven't done the Santa Clarita run, but have done Cleghorn and Calico.

Cleghorn is more of a beginner to intermediate run. Calico is intermediate to advanced, a locker would be helpful. For Calico, lots of armor is suggested -- diff covers, rails, etc. Cleghorn you'd be fine with just rock rails. Many have done it bone stock with no armor.

crittert This is going to get you very biased answers because I can almost guarantee you noone has done the Santa Clarita run. These are mostly unexplored trails that I have found. I have never done cleghorn so I can't speak for it. I of course, vote for Santa Clarita!

SoCal Jeepers: whats better?

I'm down for the holidays and want to do some wheeling. There are two runs going on next Sunday. Cleghorn and Santa Clarita. What are some pros and cons for each? which would you chose?
