Antenna_X i have a 2012 unlimited rubicon and went with a tera flex 2.5 with shock extenders so i could reuse the great rubicon stock shocks as I wanted to keep that rubicon ride but wanted 35 inch tires

While contact with the exhaust is certainly an issue, the bigger issue is the more severe angle on the driveshaft joints caused by the new geometry of a 4" lift. Unwanted contact between the DS and exhaust stands a better chance of damaging (denting) your exhaust than the driveshaft itself, but it could eventually trash both.

I wouldn't go that tall without a new aftermarket DS -- which, by the way, could STILL make contact with your exhaust at full flex, so other precautions may be necessary...

even if there is no contact? (through exhaust spacers?)

JPi1 It really comes down to what your going to do with your jeep, if you have no plans for rock crawling or some serious off road trips, you can get away with a 2.5. But I can't tell you how many customers thank me for talking them into a 3.5 instead of the 2.5. A front driveshaft is only $459 and the factory unit will eventually get the boot burned off it, even with a 2.5.

JPi1 Here's my wife's 2012, 4" teraflex lift, 35" Goodyear MTRs on 15" wheels. Drives better than stock and looks great. No "Trouble Zone" here

Daniel_M Procomp lifts are not what I would consider top tier. You also shouldn't go 4". You will need a whole host of other parts to do it right including new driveshafts which easily make it more money than you thought.

2.5" fit 35's easily and usually don't require driveshafts, control arms etc...My choices there would be Rock Krawler, Teraflex or Synergy (Poly Performance)

HunterTheBeagle I'm gonna subscribe to this mainly because I am curious about pro comps lifts. I havent really heard to much about them.

It all depends on what you want... Personally, i think 35's on that tall a lift wouldn't look right... But if you are needing that clearance or are looking for a long-travel suspension maybe that is what you want.

BeyondYourFrontDoor You don't need a 4 inch kit for 35's... a 2.5" will fit 35's easily (and even 37's) with the proper wheels. Is there a reason you want to go that high and only go 35's? You are looking at a lot of geometry changes that get into the trouble-zone over 2.5"...

If you've got a local dealer handy and they are going to stand behind their product, that might make the difference, as a lot of the popular kits are similar.

Lift suggestions? 2012 JK Unlimited Rubi

Hello all, I am new to this Forum, but have had my JeepJK for about 6 months. I saved up for 3 yrs to get this bad boy, and have enjoyed everything about it but I want to do a suspension/lift on it very soon. I am overwhelmed on all the kits/reviews etc I am dealing with a 4 wheel parts store in Las Vegas, and I'm looking at the Pro Comp 4 in lift with 35's, any suggestions will be very much appreciated.
