Newbie.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and have a 01 Jeep Wrangle Sport that I'm looking to start fixing up. The first thing I have noticed is the suspension is terrible. It sways while driving and it extremely bumpy on just normal rough roads. Should I just replace the shocks or is there anything else I need to look for? I do want to work on my Jeep myself and stay as far as possible from repair shops. Any help would be great. Thanks.
