BreckenridgeYJ I saw a 2.5 on either co springs or denver Craigslist for about 400.00. Picture of vehicle looked great and some other parts for sale. Appears to be a winter Crawler project for someone with deep pockets ..... check it out.

I'm having an issue finding the one I was speaking about, but there is another for full drive train with 86k on it for 800!

YJ325i I saw a 97 TJ w/ 2.5L complete motor at the U Pull n' Pay on tower and colfax. Not sure if it will work. Although their return policy is not the best. And ain't nothin wrong with the angry squirrel motor.

backcountryislife Something to think about, might be a dead end, but maybe not.

You can find VERY low mile 3.8 motors on the market for pretty cheap. Not sure what kind of engine mgmt might be required, but an option to consider perhaps.

Looking for a yj 4cyl engine block

I have a 90 yj that has finally decided that 190000 miles is enough. One of the cylinders is completely blown and has no compression. I know that this isn't the best engine to be looking for but it's still ideal for this particular jeep and my price range. If anyone has any helpful information of where I could find another 2.5 4cyl engine for a yj that would be amazing!
