It's really not that hard.
Depending on miles I would also do the u-joints and seals while it's apart.
I did mine last year and both u-joints and seals are bad at 50k

Jeepers- looks like my ball joints need replacing. I literally just moved up to the area (Ridgefield CT) about 2 months ago and haven't established a crew yet (I am definitely missing my NY crew!!)
Is there anyone nearby who would be willing to walk me/help me through a ball joint replacement? I'm not 100% confident tackling a project like this on my own and I have a pride issue when it comes to paying a shop to do something I think I can handle with a few buds!

My Rancho 7000's ride the same. Feel everything but not rough or harsh. No other way to describe it.

Yea it drives really nice on road. I drove the JK for about 5 miles stock then had the lift/suspension and tires/wheels put on, so I dont really have experience with how the stock JK feels.
BUT, I hope this makes sense...its a rough, but smooth ride on road.
I feel everything on the road, but it takes all of the bumps nicely. If I drop the tire pressure a little it might feel even better, but I havent done this yet.
This morning I was on my way to work and a squirrel jumped out in front of me. I SLAMMED on my breaks and cut the wheel to avoid him.....I could actually feel the front end compress down from the FOX shocks......They work good
Hope this helps man.
ETA: Thanks Kjeeper, yea I'm just keeping an eye on it for now too, I hope one day I'm not replacing the tailgate though... :/

Thanks Kurtz...I'm running the 2" OME lift with HD front springs and medium rear. Netted about 2.5"-3". I also threw on some RK LCAs, and OME SS and rear track bar bracket.
The lights are coming from my RSE step sliders kinda pricey, but super convenient...especially for the wife.
