distortedtj Yes. It's easier with two ppl with full doors.......

Hang the door on the jeep.
Slightly loosen the torx bolts on the DOORS hinges.
Close door and and have your "helper" hold the door in place.
Tighten the torx bolts back down on the door hinges.


Don't loosen the hinge on the tub just the door.

Also the door striker is adjustable.

question on doors

Ok, first off I have a 97 sport with 1/2 doors and sliders. Found a set of full doors an hour and a half away so I took a really long lunch yesterday and picked them up. got them home and cannot get them to line up.

Is there a way to adjust the hinges on a tj?

the drivers door sits about a 1/4 inch too high in the back.

Any help is much appreciated!
