You can buy the potentially improved Dorman OPDA from Rock Auto for ~$195 shipped.

BNotrab Replacing mine ASAP, called the dealership and was told they couldn't order the entire OPDA assembly for me... Where can I order one so I can replace the whole assembly?

darkside2j Take a socket to the main pulley below the fan turn it clockwise till the holes on opda line up. Just replaced mine last friday

brokejeep Take the pin out of the new opda & line up same holes on the one in your jeep & install the pin in it. The reinstall the pin in the new opda & put it in. Don't forget to remove the pin after getting the new opda installed.

Replacing the OPDA

Can anyone tell me the exact way to replace the OPDA with a new unit. I know how to mark the old one in order to reinstall it but I'm replacing it with a new one. If you leave the factory pin in place until it is installed, do you still have to find TDC on #1 plug and check the timing mark or can you just stick it in, bolt it down, remove the factory pin and start the jeep???
