i agree also. some kits dictate that you pull the spring pad isolator out (for the life of me i can't see why though) and you'll end up with a couple laying around. add them up though and you'll get a small budget boost. they are also great for offsetting the weight of a winch, heavy front bumper, or lack of rear tire/carrier combo.

|1BLKJP||Yeup, I agree with Jeepn. I just did this with a friends jeep for the front. With adding in a lift and an 8.8 the front rear was lifted more than he liked. So we took an extra set of stock pads and put them under the front pads. Leveled everything out perfectly.|

Sounds like you have a home made version.. the one's I have seen have a solid section of hardend rubber as the spacer, both front and rear are the same size, although I think there is one out there that has the rear larger now, and are usually 2"thick.
btw.. the factory does place a small rubber spacer on the front and rear.. sounds like somebody used a bunch of these to lift yours.

Help with Spring Spacer ID (Newbie)
My son and I picked up a used 2001 TJ Sport last night. It has 32x11.50 tires on it and I can't tell if it has a "BB". The front upper spring spacers look pretty thick but they're not like what I've seen advertised for a BB. They look to be several layers of round hard rubber spacers each about 1/3 of an inch thick for a total of about 2 inches. Is this a homemade BB? Also what does the rear BB look like (any pics) so I can determine if my TJ has one on it already.
