I run ARB's front and rear. They run off an air compressor mounted high in the engine bay. You can use either a blue plastic line or a steel line that plugs into the axle housing. Then I have 3 switches mounted in the jeep, one for the compessor and two for the lockers. The cable lockers such as OX lockers have gotten better, I recall some ealry one's that had engaugement issues. Think parking brake line, as you use it it tends to slip a bit, thus the ox line would slip and not allow for full mesh of the parts.
One other item to keep in mind, if you have the dana 35 rear, a locker back there is going to put a lot of stress on that axle. It tends to blow up when that happens, You many wish to upgrade your axle shafts to help with this.

|jeeperman||ARB's are air lockers. I had one for several years, with many submersions, and never had an issue with it... The cable lockers are fine, but what I have heard about them is that they are a bit touchy (at least they used to be) and it can be difficult to route the cable just right to get easy operation/engagement out of them.|

|mrbigjeep||arb is an air locker. you got to have a source of air to use it. i think you use some type of on board compressor. i hear a lot of good things about ARB's. they are expensive though|
