Help, It's cold out!!!

My heat stopped working in my jeep I took it apart and found the previous owner re wired everything and the control switch has a bible on it and the prongs are loose did it melt? And on the other side where the mode selector switch is the three wires are secrete instead of a harness like it suppose to be. The wires are blue green and black with connectors over them to connect to the three prongs. Do I buy a whole new heater control unit or just a switch and the mode select harness? And I've tried to find the harness and have had no luck. Anyone know where to get one or know what I should do? Also it's a 2000 so it's the three dial model.thanks in advance
