|4Jeepn||I would spend the money and get a front adjustable track bar, and put it back in the factory location. My guess is your drilled hole will be a future issue as well. for the stock location make sure the hole is not out of round as well and perhaps sleeve the bolt if you can somehow to aid in it not deforming the holes.|

|Mypantera||Dont waste your money on a front end alignment. You can very easily do this yourself by following the link above. I did mine by myself and it drives perfectly and other then my steering wheel being a little bit off which I will fix once there isnt 2 feet of snow on the ground. A loose front track bar would definitely cause a wobble so it sounds like you found the culprit!|

|BIGWRANGLER88||Update---front track bar had play in it. Check torque of bolt and it wasn't tight enough so I re torqued it to spec. Loosened control arms and re- torqued them. Alignment is going to be done on Monday.|

|Water Dog||It is most likely your toe in, if you haven't corrected it yet. A suspension lift will significantly change it. Get it aligned.|

|Rolly32||Since you drilled a new hole for the track bar, I assume you didn't get a new track bar. How did the bushing look on the stock track bar? That was the culprit to my death wobble. From the naked eye I thought my bushing was great but when I put new bushings in my death wobble stopped. I haven't had the death wobble since then.|

|Rolf||Does not spund like bumpsteer to me either. My money is on DW. The first things to check and do: alignment, check the trackbar and mount on the axle side - there should be 0 sideways movement, loosen all 4 front control arms and torque them to spec.|

Definitely should have check/corrected the toe in after the lift. I would have someone turn the wheel back/forth while you look underneath for loose play. Make sure the trackbar axle side is torqued to 55 ft/lbs for the stock bolt. Toe in specs is in the link and steering wheel fix is also in the link.

99 tj help -- new lift--
Installed a 3.5 lift on my jeep last night. Everything seemed fine till the ride in this morning. Hit a pot hole around 55mph and it felt like it was going to shake apart!.... Aka death wobble...i double checked everything befor i put the wheels back on....not sure were to start looking....
