|joeg679||Are there any videos showing how to do this? I don't have my jeep yet, but would like to remove the soft top assembly. Unless, it doesn't come on the jeep from the factory. I asked the dealer and he said that he wasn't sure. The worst part about reading this board is that you learn way too much and the dealers can't keep up with you. LOL. This place should be required reading for any jeep salesman.|

Thanks to everyone who replied
Great advice. I'm sure I won't have any trouble.

Have a friend help you. I also have a dual top and my friend helped me
Remove the hard top and the take the soft top out. It all took about 20 minutes and mostly cause we where talking.
Soft top comes off easy. 4 bolts (2 on each side) and soft top is off. Take the hard top off to make it easy and not scratch the inside of the top. A friend should be able to help and get this done quickly.

The owner's manual says to remove the Hard Top to remove the Soft Top. It's been suggested that you can remove the Soft Top with the Hard Top without completely removing the Hard Top but you'd need a friend.
I just took delivery of my Rubicon and my son & I just removed the Hard Top, then removed the Soft Top and put he Hard Top back in place.

Need Guidance How to Remove Soft Top Assembly from 2013 Wrangler Sahara 2DR
Folks, I'm new to the forum. I tried a search and did not see this topic. I own a '13 Sahara ordered with both tops, and find that with the hard top installed, the soft top assembly is a pain because it is right in the way for getting stuff into and out of the rear of the vehicle. Dealer told me it is a pain to remove the entire soft top assembly. Is this true, or is it very straight forward to remove? I would like to store for the winter months so I have easy rear access when factory hard top is installed. I am looking for directions.
