JeepHerz By the way, Van Dusen was closed. It's only about 2.5 more miles to the 18 should anyone have the same issue. The 330 was busy but moving.

JeepHerz So beautiful day. Little cold but the sun was shining all day. Great snow pack and even better....found a mud puddle. Taken off video so you have to click on it. If you look closely you'll see a Jeep.

When Rich and I went up on Friday we both sailed up hwy 38 with no issues. When we finished I headed back down 38 straight to Yucaipa in no time and he went through town to 18/330. Lets put it this way, I was on my couch eating dinner and he was just passing Snow Valley.

JeepHerz Thanks L Brito.
I downloaded all the maps on Topo Maps last night so that should help too. The coordinates are great. We're off to a late start. I figure if traffic is too bad we'll turn around and have lunch. Where I live there is always traffic so if I have to sit through some to get to a snowy mountain- worth a shot.

We ran the 3n16 and 3n14. Nothing crazy but got real slippery at times.

JeepHerz Thanks Gunner. I have a new Go Pro to play with so I'll give it a shot.
Sorry you can't come Jeff. I had plans yesterday or we were gonna drive over to Hemet. I need to hit a trail before I go loco- though I am pretty sure it might be too late.

Gunner Van Dusen rd may be chained off. You'll know when you get there. If it is just continue to the dump and you can get to the hwy from there. Have fun and take pictures.

Big Bear/Crab Flats Tomorrow Dec 31

We're going to do the now infamous Crab Flats run tomorrow so we can play in the snow. We'll be at Rocky's in Running Springs around 10:30 am. We haven't run this trail yet so some patience might be in order- but directions according to most are pretty clear. Testing out the new CB- Channel 4. I am in a silver JK Sport.

Rocky's
32150 Hilltop Blvd, Running Springs, CA 92382 (909) 939-0501
