GaDude I ran cleghorn yesterday. You guys are gonna have a blast if you go there. There is snow in some spots and a good bit of the trails are still wet/muddy which adds to the challenge. There is also a fire road called Sugar Pines about 1-2 miles from the end of the cleghorn trail by the lake. There is lots of snow and it's very scenic. It drops you off right by where the 215 and the 15 meet. We took it after Cleghorn and it was the perfect way to wrap up the run. The first 2 pics are from Cleghorn, the next 2 are of Sugar Pines.

It really is amazing what a little rain can do. You would never think Cleghorn would get like that but I was sliding around on the easy trail. When it's that slick on some of the bypasses body damage/rollover risk is pretty dang high. Not to mention some of the cliffs you are right next to . I was sliding around next to a few of those.

Slick as snot is definitely the best way to put it. But I would be lying if I told you it wasn't fun .

There were even a few small mudholes with thick gooey mud and they were surprisingly deep. There were a few times where the back end came sliding around on me too. I didn't even think of trying some of the bypasses. I turned around about half way as I was by myself, but it would have been fun with a group.

Be really careful out there at night though . It might not too bad out there right now.
