I realize its never gonna be as powerful as a 4.0 but i would like a little more power than a 2.5 has to offer. and like I said the dj was cheap and has been driven by me as an extra vehicle for years. if it would swap I would be ecstatic.

232 engine swap?

so i have a 97 with a 2.5, also a 75 dj-5 with a 232 i6 and a 727 torqueflite tranny. how difficult would it be to drop the 232 into the tj? I live in Montana so we don't care about emissions. also I'd want to do the tranny so i could have the auto, but would my tcase swap over to the 2wd 727? I was thinking of building up the 232 to be a stroker since I have less than 500 into the dj I would love to see this work.
