|TexasBeerMan||I also have a 2.4l trying to get more power, i have added a cold air intake a new throttle body, and have done cat back exhaust system...only thing I can think of is headers and a chip waiting on funds to install those any other add ons I can get to help with lack of power, I am tired of the lack of power getting passed by semi trucks is getting embarrassing|

|BlakeDuke123||Thanks. I was wanting to put bigger tires. Wasn't sure if I would need to add more horse power or not. Maybe cold air intake? What bout headers an exhaust?|

3.6 you meant

your looking at it all wrong I think... if your goal is to get more power to the road/trail look into your gear ratios. Theres not a lot you can do to the 2.5 for more power and a turbo is a real good way to ruin your head in a hurry.
If you re-gear, you can get more power to the road with less effort on the engine.
I would say to check into tire upgrades or a lift though before you re-gear. Only because if you regear to get more power out of your current setup it might not be the best gearing for larger tires if you ever add them in the future.
Aside from all that, keep your engine tuned. Distributor cap & rotor, plugs, wires and air filter are all major causes of lacking horsepower. They are made to wear out and are frequently overlooked.

|ktx_jeeper||If you want some horses, buy yourself a nice Corvette. Jeeps dont really supply the kind of on demand power you could get from other daily drivers.|
