would you like them back?

i cannot refund you for them, i am sorry. Per the rma, refunds can only be given for products that are returned in new condition.

thank you,

guys, there was nothing wrong with those lights other than they were too big for the housing. Autolumination.com flat out just wanted to keep my money on top of what i gave them for the new order. Why in the hell can't people just be honest and treat others fairly?

I ordered the neo wedge bulbs from them to complete the job with the switches, but that's it! The only reason i did that is because i haven't been able to locate another source for those particular bulbs. There's a place called vleds.com that has all the rest of the bulbs, but i couldn't find the neo wedge there.

My advise to any of you that are starting this mod is to use another source for these led's if at all possible. You've just seen that autolumination.com refuses to back up their products, they flat out lie to steal your money, and charge ridiculous shipping and restocking fees.

if you find another source, please post it to help out your fellow jeepers.

on a good note:
I received an email from paypal today in my favor of the claim that i had to make against mjmautoinnovations on ebay for not refunding my money on those garbage pvc speaker adapters.
(another thief)
so i finally got my money back from that thief, but i'm not to sure what i can do about this thief. Any suggestions???

NUTnOUT changed the lights around and it works awesome now.
01-27-2011 03:28 PM
KawiMonsterSahara QUITE possible... i would look to see where the dark spots are (easier at night) and pull off the cluster, pull the light closest to that area, turn it and put it back in, put the cluster back, and CHECK IT... if its brighter then that was the problem... if its worse, then you may want to switch it back to the way it was originally....

Let me know if you have any questions... (i got pretty good at switching them back and forth)
01-27-2011 03:21 PM
NUTnOUT im asking if i have dead spots in my cluster because maybe a couple of the ones are installed with the wrong polarity and are not working
01-27-2011 08:40 AM
KawiMonsterSahara if you are refering to me, then, yeah i checked the polarity. all is good... when its really dark out i love it.... just kinda sucks in between day and night
01-27-2011 08:37 AM
NUTnOUT do the led's you installed in your gauge cluster have to be installed with the correct polarity also? I tried this and it seems like i have some dead spots. when i switched out my hvac i noticed the polarity had to be a certain way in order for the leds to work.
01-12-2011 11:52 AM
KawiMonsterSahara I DID thanks...

I'm guessing that its the best i can get (at least for now) which isnt HORRIBLE and it has color now... its just not as bright as id like it to be
01-12-2011 11:28 AM
Neil F. Did you order the correct bulbs? I have not read into the LED changeout but what little I have skimmed over here and this larger thread Gauge Cluster LED Install - JeepForum.com there are a number of different style with multi and angled LEDs which affect the illumination.
01-12-2011 10:18 AM
KawiMonsterSahara AND its really splotchy(?)
01-12-2011 10:17 AM
KawiMonsterSahara I expected them to be REALLY bright (the picture looks better than it really is)... \

Especially not impressed with the A/C controls.
01-12-2011 10:15 AM
Neil F. Ok, looked at the pictures. Without you saying what is wrong, you can't tell from the pictures.

KawiMonsterSahara Am I the only one who doesnt like the results from my LED replacement bulbs?
I bought them from VLEDS.COM and was stoked about having some BRIGHT green lights in my dash. However, the results were pretty dissappointing...

Help?

redlinepilot my mom has a yj 95 i think it could be a 94 and its green i am going to put the uv/purple LEDs #74 bulb. I am not going to tell her I just asked if I can use it this weekend and am going to surprise her I hope he likes it. I think the purple looks cool and not a lot of people use it most people use a blue and purple will look good in a women’s jeep
she is going to be so pissed if I break something
what LED would fit in a TJ 06 I think I am going to get one before winter. After having one last winter I don’t want to go back to my little s10 that is not so great in the snow
10-02-2010 06:19 PM
BLACKTOOTHGRIN I guess that could go either way if she hasn't given you permission.
Just as long as you don't break anything in the process,
she'll probably be pleased with the outcome.
What color are you doing hers?
10-02-2010 09:37 AM
redlinepilot ok i just got some LEDs online (i should get them befor next weekend) that i think will work so i can do this to my moms jeep i hope shes not going to be pissed
10-02-2010 09:21 AM
redlinepilot its to bad i totaled my jeep because this looks like something cool to do
07-31-2009 07:58 PM
Giancarlo i need the wire for the trans shifter does anyone know where i can get it?
06-02-2009 02:32 AM
BLACKTOOTHGRIN I bought 7, but just used 5.
5 is all you need for the basic color change.
I got kinda lucky because I found that same size goes in my HVAC,
so I used the other two in there.
(I have a 98 btw, with the old slider controls)

kdukes4 yah actually did it on the regular paint application off the desktop, my photoshop is at the rents....

about the cluster...Let's hope that's not the case. i was basically too lazy and affraid that taking the guage back out would give me another issue with the connections and guage funtions. tomorrow ill have the dielectric grease around and can mess with it then. When you put your lights in how many bulbs did you use?
06-01-2009 09:13 PM
BLACKTOOTHGRIN I guess you photoshoped the color combo?

Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm not sure that will work.
I'm not positive, but I don't think there's a barrier inside the cluster for you to be able to separate colors in that way.

However, there ARE barriers for your blinkers, high-beam, and warning lights.
So you could play with different colors on those I think.

The top 3 are your left/right blinkers and the center one is your high-beam.

Hope that helps a little.

kdukes4 It depends on where you're putting it.
Make sure it's not too long or too wide.[/QUOTE]

Agreed, I checked the dimensions of the ones you used and others mentioned from audulumination, v-led, and superbright, they're all pretty much the same size give or take 1 or 2 mm. So i'm hoping these will fit. plus it also seemed like these guys have their stuff together with customer service so if i have problems it shouldnt be an issue to resolve. and at $30 for the lights and shipping, i'm not gonna complain yet!

Blacktooth, do you know which spots behind the cluster go to which guages? i made a request a couple post up but no one responeded. Thanks!

Ej132 Ive wanted to replace the "foot lights" or the lights when you open the doors that light up the foot area with some blue led light sticks they sell at Murrays. Could i just splice wires together to get it to work? anyone done this? thanks

which bulb goes....

So i'm going to go with LED's in the cluster sometime very soon. I just have to choose what colors i'm going to go with. I currently have an alpine cda 7875 heres a link to a pic. the blue buttons are nice and bright at night.

Attachment 8738
now, since the faceplate is basically blue, white & some amber accents, i'm thinking about going with super white and then another color in the dashboard cluster since one color will drive me crazy after a while. however, which bulbs goes to which guages? is it possible to do the two small bottom corner guages different from the top corner guage colors? since i dont have an owners manual im relying on you guys and gals! i was also going to change the turn signal color. thankssss.

Also, is it possible to do two colors in the AC/Heat/Fan dash? I would like to go blue for the command plate and then amber for the temperature faceplate. (thinking that these will be the colors i choose for the cluster as well)...
