JDeBlois Also, switching fenders yourself is easy, jus takes some time. Save the money there.. If you don't have a tire machine, you'll pay for mount/balancing Cus balancing is key for Wranglers, it may cause death wobble

For the Rims, is there any trick to the size or brand (One size fits all tires)? I see some sites selling Black Rock Crawler Rims for around 60-70 each.
Depends on what Jeep/axles due to lug pattern. Tj D30/35 combo and popular 8.8 swap are all 5 on 4.5 with R15 or R16 most commonly. The D30/44 or 44/44 combo are 5 on 5.5 with 16 or 17s most common. If you call the company you order, they'll most likely know if they fit.

New JKs I believe are 5 on 5.5 but don't quote me there.

Mostly an 8 inch wide rim is preferred for airing down/offroad but 10 inch wide is fine too. Jus check the backspacing 4.5 is ideal, but I run 33x12.5x15 tires with only 3.75 backspacing and they don't rub at all do you should be fine

JDeBlois Depends how and who ya buy from. 5 rims.. Anywhere from $500 to over a grand. Those flares.. Bushwacker pocket style, you can get on eBay used or craigslist or ppl here..or brand new from places from $250 on up.

Simple mods, but price adds up quick

Advice on modifications...

Hey guys,

So I'm looking to buy a Jeep very soon.

I know that I would eventually want to add Black Rims and Fender Flares, like the pic attached.

Generally speaking, are these pretty simple/roughly inexpensive to do? I understand price is subjective, but I have no idea if we are talking hundreds or well over a grand.

I am completely new to this, so my apologies if this is an obvious question.

Thanks!
