needles district adventure

These are of our May 2012 trip
Needles District Adventure, day 1, On the way to camp

Needles District Adventure, Day 1, (Elephant Hill Trail to Camp) - YouTube

and Needles District Adventure, days 2, 3, 4, & 5

Needles District Adventure, Days, 2, 3, 4, & 5 - YouTube

I hope everyone enjoys watching our vids, we hope that you too may begin your own exploration, whether in a tent out in the wilderness, your own back yard, your city, or the exploration of your own mind as you sit at your desk or in your favorite armchair and discover new worlds on your PC, or in the pages of books. We love to explore, our jeep and our legs get us to places most never think of, nor consider.... Currently we are planning another trip, either back to the Needles, then exit through Bobby's Hole and Beef Basin, or Go into the Maze for at least 4 nights. So far we are undecided. Fortunately next time out we will have better camera gear along with us. All of these vids and images were taken with a pair of Canon Powershot a 590s..
We just recently purchased a new DSLR, and am shopping for a vid cam of some sort. Any advice on vid cams would be appreciated, as when I tell any sales person what we are doing they immediately try to steer us toward the pro grade gear, and that's just way too much money, since of course, we are not pros.. later.. and thanks for any input...
