|stykthyn||I'm running it right now with the stock FPR but there is lots of room for adjustment. The above items have been on my list for a long time to make the most of the set up I just havent gotten around to it.|

|stykthyn||I would seriously invest in a FP and air/fuel gauge. There is a fine line that you can walk with the stock programming. The engine will go from running great to falling on its face real fast when you start messing with fuel curve. Watching ghe air/fuel gauge you can pinpoint exactly where your optimal fuel pressure is before you go rich and start choking your motor.|

When you set it up get gauge to messages fp and turn up your adjustable one or down as needed. I would kick it up a little bit but that is just me. If I break something I fix it.

|Ppride14||Okay. I know I will for sure do the injectors and TB swap...with the possibility of doing the FPR later. Somewhere I had read that the Ford injectors actually put out slightly less pressure than stock Jeep 2.5l injectors (17.4 vs 17.3 psi) because the Jeep is rated at 39 psi while Ford's calculations are based on 43.5 psi. Does anybody here have experience with doing a higher pressure FPR?|

|stykthyn||get the TB and injectors. IF you are going to go with a FPR buy an adjustable unit.|

'95 2.5l need advice on upgrade.
Hey guys. I've been doing a lot of research on cheap mods to help my 4 banger run a bit better. I've found and am about to purchase Ford/Bosch 19lb injectors and a 4.0 throttle body off eBay. However, I read where some people also changed the fuel pressure regulator to one off a mid 90's Chrysler vehicle. Apparently the FPR off those has higher pressure (41-49 psi I believe) than the stock FPR. Do you think this is a necessary upgrade? Or should I just swap the injectors and TB? I can get the FPR for about $20 new so I will get it if it helps. Thanks.
