tiny terror No worries, just an odd question. I think the difference in opinion has to do with the definition of drifting. I spent a while whipping around sand dunes with a buddy in his jeep, did the same on an iced over pond. I wouldn't consider it drifting, but some may.

Trolling is generally looking for a negative reaction by fishing around with bait. Urban dictionary can probably give you a better definition.

ahahahah yeah even though the question was alittle odd you seem like a cool guy!

i had a gsxr 600 (k6)
geo metro is sloppy and with only 3 cylinders you would get a better driving and faster setup out of a riding lawnmower!
i didn't race them...but i crashed tested a few!

yjwrangler i drifted alot of things, i drifted my dads stang, my friends old cutless, my motorcycle, i drifted through school...but why drift a jeep? I mean thats like wanting to race a geo metro or using a tractor trailer as a dd ( with no trailer). and.....a jeep has too short a wheelbase to do that crap!

pyro Yes it does. Im a fireman in Philly. with all the things people do with jeeps, I cant understand Y some of you are so against driftin a jeep. I dont get it.

jgano23 didnt mean anything by it Im just a smart a$$. Im sure you could show me a few things if we run into ech other. And maybe Ill show u how to drift.

compshooter I did not waste my time reading this entire thread. However, DRIFT A JEEP? Does your work require drug tests?

Jerry Bransford I want to set my Toyota Supra up to rock crawl, would there be anyway to do that without getting stuck or tipping?

Hondarider I've seen some Jeep drifting on the frozen lake in Georgetown, CO.

i knew someone would call me out on that one . if i said muddy side up than i'd still be confused. as i mentioned before, i'm not that smart. do you have any idea how hard it is to get into your "right side up" jeep while you are "up side down?" you lose a lot of change that way.

Triple88a wow every one is beating the guy with a bat for asking a question you dont see around here. Relax people.

You can drift with a wrangler but you will need to lower it down quite a bit and extend your track.
02-06-2009 05:44 PM
JeepCommandoja For sure i have thrown more than one hillbilly sideshow in the wrangler.
02-06-2009 04:46 PM
Sb5551 I never said I was smart. It just seems real easy in the rain with the mud terrains and the detroit in my rear thatll send power to only one wheel when Im turning.
02-06-2009 04:10 PM
skeeter I wouldn't do it on anything other than ice or snow. there's simply too much stress on the drivetrain and too much chance of grabbing traction at the wrong time.
