What A Great Day For A Hike.

We had the best weather for a Hike. It was beautiful.
Our campers were pretty pleased with the weather too.
We hiked Pickle Creek Trail in the morning.

After our first hike we went back to the campground and had lunch.
We recruited a few more hikers for our second hike on Pickle Spring Trail.

We belong to ORCC-Off Road Camping Club. ORCC promotes camping, canoeing, hiking & Backpacking in the Ozark Region of Missouri & Arkansas. We help promote the Bass Pro Outdoor Skills Village in Springfield, MO.. We held the Outdoor Family Campout/Skills Village at Springfield Lake Park on the James River. ORCC, Springfield Parks Dept. and the Missouri Dept. of Conservation set up a campground for this event at Springfield Lake Park, all ORCC Members/Families were able to campout and attend this event free of charge. At the Skills Village, members worked about 60Ft. of displays set up by ORCC. We have scheduled events every month, you and your family are always welcome to attend any of the events/campouts. Check out the website and if you like, join up and join in on the fun (Its FREE).

YouAndI We also do a lot of camping & canoeing. I see your in south west Missouri, some of our favorite spots are Greer Recreation Area/Mark Twain Forest (Eleven Point River) & North Fork Of the White River. We have several trips planned down your way this year.
