RawhideClab Went to get it inspected... found out that your parking break has to work to get an inspection. Also found out that my horn stopped working and my left turn signal wasn't working on the dash
Brought it home tightened the brake cable, put new LED bulbs in tachometer and speedometer (since I had the dash apart), swapped the "shift-up" bulb with the left turn bulb and cleaned up the contacts for the horn. Nothing to exciting but it had to be done. And it reminded me why I love older vehicles! Everything was self explanatory and easy to fix!

Slowfoot Drove it home this past Sunday 12-14. It's under the Christmas tree.

ArcsnSparks Ran some Marvel Mystery oil thru her and then changed her oil and filter. Did the little spacer trick for my cad unit and fixed a couple of other minor issues. Slowly but surely running thru my " gig " list.

tjnickyj So one of many things needing to get done on the 90 yj was the drivers side floor pan. I really didnt want to buy a preformed replacement i really wanted to get hands on with this fix. Went to Home Depot and bought some sheet metal and had some fun last night.
Still needs some more weld clean ups but it looks pretty good i think.

homemade tube fenders

Ok, so not exactly today but whatever... I finally got around to fabricating my front tube fenders! I needed more clearance up front so this was my solution. I bought a DIY type kit from "Trail Tubes" that came with .120 wall tubing prevent (kinda), meaning to install them like damn near 6 months ago but never had the opportunity to get to them til now... Lets just say the kit didn't come anywhere near "fitting together" the way that it should have. good thing for me i kinda work with metal for a living so I was able to make it work, along with some free (albeit overkill, but again... free) 1/8" plate (thanks Wombat Ranger!). Rear fenders are next but I need to give my "fab bone" a rest for a hot minute.

Only before pic I had was off my security feed ( I'm horrible about remembering to take pictures before.

What I'm doing to my YJ today

Thehulk0560 Left my lights on...drained the battery (bad). Learned how to push start my jeep (good). Embarrassing, but productive day.

Twojump36 Might do that... I'm pretty sure its coming in on that corner by the windshield /cowl... I can see it wet along the inside of that body panel...

4angels Man those look great. I got to thinking about your leak. Move the drivers seat all the way back, better yet pull it. lay in there with with a flashlight and look up. While water does travel, the inception point will be discolored.

Twojump36 Installed the Red Rock 4x4 rock guards tonight...
Easy install and perfect fit...
