death wobble!!

I never thought I had anything worth posting on here, but what happened today is worth mentioning!!

I recently lifted my tj, 3 inch suspension lift. I had a friend of mine that is a mechanic help me with the installation due to my lack of experience.
The installation was done in December but due to school and necessary hunting trips, I hadn't been able to drive it. He proceeded to tell me that we should make the control arms adjustable to help prevent the dw. Due to my lack of knowledge, I agreed and he went through with it.
Today I picked her up and got on the highway. BAM!! I heard that and lost control, slamming against the wall of the highway. The right upper control arm had snapped, and the track bar fell off as a result.
Only damage to her was scratched fender flare and cracked mirror. Well for now anyways. Hopefully tomorrow it'll be taken care of.
He is putting new control arms, don't know what's going on with the track bar and then doing an alignment.

What a wonderful Sunday!

Ralph
