97flexy op- I ran a 1.25" BL and Mce fenders for a while and wheel'd it like that if you remove the rear inner fenders and adjust the steering stops you shoulc be fine if you don't mind the cut look.

Whitfimb Low COG (Center Of Gravity) is all about big tires with little to no lift and body / fender mods to make it work. Take the time dial it in (Shocks and bump stops) and learn how to drive it. The axles are your lowest point and no lift will change that.

Some may accuse you of just being cheap, it is ok to be thrifty if you are thorough and do the research to make it right. And just because it can be done does not mean that it is an easier solution then installing a 3-4" lift.

cntryboy232 33s on stock and no fenders trimmed. It rubs on the fender flares. Plan on lift kit.

Coasttrash stock with 33s with a little fender trimming.



stuffing with the 33s never rubbed while turning either direction.

99tj707 If you want to be cheap about it the least I would do would be a 2"bb and a 1.25bl.

Wattapunk I can assure you that the real JerryBransford will probably tell you you will need 4" lift but maybe Jerry tonight is intoxicated and angered from a Seahawks loss that he will respond to this post in an altered mental state and tell you this setup will work. Then you will get the confirmation you are seeking from the Jeep guru and ease your mind.

Tjdude08 Not sure he's gonna have any good news for them. Its a very very very tight fit. It will rub guaranteed. My buddy ran it for only a short period and he rubbed and it kinda rolled his flares up top on the front pair.

You're going to get more negative responses than positive. Look at what they say about the bb and 33s. You're asking for 33s and no lift. You are gonna get flamed if you keep asking.

Best advice either do it and face the consequences or get a bb and be better off.

Sunriver Ken I run 33's on a 2003 Rubi with a 1 3/4" Daystar lift. I do hit the fenders "occasionally" when off roading but I am living with it. I believe a 4" lift and all the associated BS is what a person really should have but I am happy with what I have now.

TJCOUNTRYBOY I ran 33s with 1 3/4 daystar coil spacers and had no problems had a good back spacing on the rims to. wasn't great off road but I still beat the hell out of it the just stuffed the fenders alittle no dammage

Imped You'll be fine, your jeep will not explode. They'll fit quite well with a 1" body lift. Good time to go ahead and get that out of the way.

Tjdude08 My buddy put 33s on stock lift. Ran it for bout 2-3 weeks. drove over 100 miles with it. Didn't have major problems but when I put his bb lift of he had rubbed his flare a little. Didn't mess it up just kinda rolled it a little.

I WOULD NOT take it off of pavement at all!! If you drive carefully you'd be fine until you got lift installed

If you have old saggy springs id hold off. That might not help at all.

Neil F. 33x? Obviously they are 2" more in diameter so go our and measure. From the diameter alone, you probably will rub the hell out of your fender on bumps and dips. If they are 12.5, depending on the wheel backspacing, you may rub hard on the control arm and wheel well. At a minimum, get a budget boost if all you are doing is on-road

Wattapunk Why can't you just buy the tires and hold off installing them until the right wheels and lift can be installed first? Even with the correctly backspaced wheels, you will encounter major rubbing, especially over bumps and turns. Also a good way to damage the fender flares.

33's stock suspension

Ok I obviously understand that 33's will not fit with a stock suspension but there is a good deal right now on craigslist that i dont want to pass up and i am just curious as to what problems I would run into in putting on 33's with a stock lift. If the problems were minor like what i had with my 31's untill i got rims with backspacing then I would go for it. Let me know.
