|zfender14||So i tried it, and found something interesting. When I unspooled the cable, there was a kink in it, a permanent kink. Tomorrow I am going to call and see about a new cable since there is now an issue if the integrity of the cable.|

|chezuki||You could practice by going around and removing a-holes from handicapped parking spaces that don't belong there.|

I paid $386 from winchdepot. Picked it up at 4wheelparts last thursday.
I free spooled it out and used my hand to spool it under "load" which didnt work out so well. So I figure after class today i will go find a tree or something to get it spooled right.

|chezuki||Nice! let us know what you think. I've really been considering one of those, looks like a reasonably priced winch with numbers and specs comparable to the big boys.|

This is my new smittybilt xrc10! I put it on yesterday. Hopefully I will get to hook it to somethig today. Not going offroad or anything, just want to pull something with my new toy
I figured I needed one after getting stuck out at Richloam because I was stupid enough to take myself and a few friends offroading in one vehicle.... (doh) Of course I misjudged a mud hole and got swallowed. I wish I wouldve brought my camera to take pics but left it back at camp. After the thing was over and we got some nice people in a huge old dodge 2500 to pull me out I decided this would be a good investment.
I dont plan on ever going off road in one vehicle again but if any of my friends or I get in trouble at least now we can get out.
