iwaxmyjimmy Since I'm not really finding anyone willing to weld on some I'll probably go with adapters/ spacer and Eaton's.... just wish I could get a bigger ring to protect the valve stems more

Yeah I was already tracking that. Hence why I mentioned using adapters

iwaxmyjimmy Thanks I'll give them a call later on today. Another option I was looking at was a 5x5.5 conversion spacer to run some eaton beadlocks. Not really a fan of wheel spacers though. I'm going to keep chasing down leads to get them welded on. I'm just not a fan of aluminum wheels, so thats why I'm all for the steel wheel deal.

iwaxmyjimmy Yeah I'm tracking about all that and this was a feeler on this hoping someone has done it. Honestly you would have to do some really ugly booger welds to throw it way out of balance.

Sccafire Just to have someone weld on the rings probably not a good idea. I would find a shop that has done it before. The major problem with welding on the steel rings is tire balance. If they are not perfectly welded on you will always have tire balance issues. If the Jeep will be a trail only rig you could probably get away with trying to do it yourself.

iwaxmyjimmy You're right a lot of shops do welding but being that this would be welding on steel wheels a lot of places would steer away from that.

suicideking Pretty sure JPI in Yucaipa does welding. I would think most mod shops do as well.

weld-on beadlocks

Are any vendors, or any person on the forum a certified welder, willing to weld-on outter rings for bead lock wheel. Its steel on steel, I'll sign a disclaimer so you don't have to worry about that. I just can't weld good enough to attempt these.
