sorry, yeah its a 99....good to know about the pass side issue

maybe add ons would be the better option

mrpotatohead I ordered a set of rugged ridge a while ago without thinking about the two different gens of TJ (they weren't specific on the website) and got the older style brackets. Seemed well built and I got them installed... For about 3 minutes...

What year is yours? The brackets for the stock mirrors are different for 97-02, 03-06. 03-06 are pretty ugly paddle looking because of the change in mirror configuration. The-Judge I bought the rugged ridge ones and the work great when the doors are off. When the doors are on they make the mirrors set to far forward. I use them for the summer and when winter comes I move the mirrors back to the doors

whats good? whats crap? I see prices all over the map....is this a case of you get what you pay for?
